The fourth annual Wharton Hidden Garden Tour is scheduled for the first two
full weekends in May: the 3rd & 4th and the 10th & 11th. We are very
excited to have 3 large country gardens on tour this year as well as a
quaint appreciation garden located at one of our area nursing homes and not
to forget the tropical paradise hidden near the Jr. High school inside of
Wharton.
The three year history of Wharton Hidden Garden Tour lets us know that this
2008 event will be even more charming, even more beautiful and even
more fun than before. Our generous 2008 garden hosts are graciously
awaiting your visit! We hope you will find this year's gardens to be
inspiring, beautiful, informative and addicting.
On our 2008 tour you will see one garden that features the beautiful
backdrop of Caney Creek and another located in Mesquite Hills that features
many roses as well as lots of country friends. You will find many things
that will inspire you to garden such as water features, hard scapes, picket
fences, vines, scrubs and roses. There will also be a wide variety annuals,
perennials and trees.
We personally want to welcome each of you to the 2008 Wharton Hidden
Tour.
The tour hours are 2:00 to 5:00pm each tour day. Tickets and maps at
each garden during tour hours.
Tickets are available the day of the Tours @ Wharton County Historical
Museum & each garden on the tour.
